About Porto Alegre, BR

Ericki Gutierrez.

Product Designer working at the seam of editorial craft and digital product.

Design has been part of my life for more than fifteen years — from early layout work in newspapers and magazines to leading digital product initiatives across platforms and industries. I've also taught university courses in design and art history, an experience that sharpened my ability to communicate ideas clearly and guide others through complex creative processes.

Over the years, I've worked on countless design projects for clients in more than twenty countries. My work typically spans the full product-design lifecycle: discovery, research, and ideation through prototyping, delivery, and collaboration in Scrum-based teams. I'm known for being meticulous, highly organized, and empathetic — qualities that help me navigate both strategic discussions and hands-on craft.

I'm fluent in the tools of the trade — UI tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, DesignOps platforms like Jira, and AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Design, and others.

Mentorship is an important thread through my career. Beyond my academic background, I recently launched the internship program at my current company — an initiative that's let me develop and apply teaching, leadership, and management skills inside an enterprise-level organization.

Beyond product design, I work with illustration, branding, and design strategy, and I enjoy exploring adjacent fields like game design, pixel art, and video production.

In 2020, I published Pierre and Erica – a dialogue about the history of Brazilian arts, a project that combines my passion for design with my academic background.
