Design has been part of my life for more than 15 years, from my early work in newspapers and magazine layout to leading digital product initiatives across platforms and industries. I have also taught university courses in design and art history, an experience that strengthened my ability to communicate ideas clearly and guide others through complex creative processes.

Over the years, I’ve worked on countless design projects for clients in more than twenty countries. My responsibilities typically span the full product-design lifecycle: from discovery, research, and ideation to prototyping, delivery, and collaboration within Scrum-based teams. I’m known for being meticulous, highly organized, and empathetic — qualities that help me navigate both strategic discussions and hands-on design work.

 

I am vastly proficient with all the typical tools of the trade - from UI tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, to strategic and management tools like Jira and similar DesignOps platforms, along with AI-driven tools like Cursor, Lovable and others.

Mentorship is an important part of my career as well. Apart from my academic background, I recently created the internship program at my current company, an initiative that allowed me to develop and apply my teaching, leadership, and management skills within a enterprise-level company.

​Beyond product design, I also work with illustration, branding, and design strategy, and I enjoy exploring adjacent creative fields like game design, pixel art, and video production.

 

In 2020, I published the book "Pierre and Erica – a dialogue about the history of Brazilian arts", a project that combines my passion for design with my academic background.
